gosh... it's actually damn cold to walk on the street at night.
and here i am trying to rush to get this posting done at the internet cafe....
actually it's a 7-11 style convenience store plus internet cafe.
so cool
yeh...
soooooo cool.

and i just had milk shake from macdonalds.
so bloody coughing in the coldness lah.
ha.

btw... the point is,... i still dun have internet... me and my housemates haven't apply for it yet.
no phone line at home too.
so can't update unless in school.
so... anyway.. i've settled down in a off-campus house... nice big house.. though not furnished.
but i just bought quite a bit of 2nd-hand furniture.
sort of finally finally can have a better stay

sch's interesting.
and i'm have quite a bit of fun in sch.
luckily i have a lot of help from some friends here.

can really appreciate the "chu wai kao peng you" stuff now.

sch's started.
but not feeling entirely settled down yet.
i'm currently staying with a friend first.
the apt that i'm going to share with another 2 spore guys... not ready till later this week.
but i made some helpful friends here.
and they are taking good care of me.
it feels good to have friends when away.
so i'm quite fine.
coming to terms with the cold liao... know when to avoid outdoors.. when to keep warm, when to bathe to avoid immediate freeze once out of hot water zone.

i'm using internet in the reid library during lunchtime.
and at night after my friend slept (after 1am)
so still not really settled down as you see.
but real soon, really soon, i hope to see everything done.
and till then....
perth is going to be a whole lot of good experience to have.

at this moment that i'm blogging now, i'm sitting next to the heater.
trying to keep myself a little warm
it's not that cold, so cold that it will snow, but it's about 8 degreescelsius now.


have been in perth for six days.
have enough "fun" with the cold already
been trying to keep warm.
frankly first few days quite sad, cos i would wake up quite a number of times at night, cause it's too cold.

i happen to arrive on a night where the winter hit the lowest experience so far,
that very next morning, i woke up, climbed the table to get right next to the wall heater, and stood "de-frosting" myself for 45min.

have started to tour the place a little.
but i'm really gonna settle my accommodation first, and get more involved in my sch work.
not as eager and kan cheong, dun really care about it now.
haven't had any internet access for quite some time.
even hp is really restricted use.
it's an optus pre-paid card, the one that most singaporeans use.


gosh.. winter's gonna be around for another month or so.

half excited, half sian

oh gosh i'm leaving in another 3 days time.
so short
life has been speeding fast this week

after the foc, which i prob will blog about when i'm finally in australia,
life has been at such a fast pace.
all the final admin,
and prep
busy buying stuff, busy thinking of the packing list
and tying up loose ends over here.
editing photos, digitising video, attending gatherings, and be as avaliable to most people as possible.
and of cos finish up the last session of my cardiovascular expt.

but time is running up
i'm not prepared to leave yet.

and yet... i'm looking forward to that rest.
