just read an article from National Geographic on the wonder of coffee.
lots of interesting facts and statistics.
happen to remember one part of it vividly though.

it's about how the widespread use of caffeinated products are blurring the lines of awakeness.
robbing us of our sleep and rest.
with the invention of light bulbs, the coffee/tea, humans are working at night too.
and the result is that we all become very-sleep-deprived entities.

guess wat, i just got cable.
and with a router around, i could access internet from anywhere in my house.
i HAVE a centrino notebook....
well, just as i was thinking how i could bring the notebook to the dining table and view my webcast while having breakfast... (save time)

i think i sort of reminded myself....
are you going to let computers invade your life totally,....
now that you can use it anywhere now?
(well precisely cos i had to use dial up broadband, i could only stay at one place to access. now that i can roam around and still access, i lose control of something)

what's that something... time for some other things.
if it is reading... then i better go a quiet room, and just read.
i can't bring a notebook along.. it will disrupt .... there won't be quality reading.

such is the draw of convenience...
that we forget that it disrupts our time for many other impt things in life.
caffeine.
wireless.
same.
